Patch-test every new product first
Before using a new product on your whole face, try it on a small area (such as behind the ear or on the forearm) and wait a full day to see whether redness or itching appears.
Choose products with fewer ingredients and no fragrance
The simpler the ingredient list and the fewer added fragrances, the lower the chance of irritating sensitive skin.
Do not combine strong ingredients at once
Using more than one "strong" product in the same routine can weaken the skin barrier. Introduce one new product at a time and watch how your skin reacts.
Moisturise regularly
Sensitive skin is often more reactive when it is dry, so consistent moisturising helps reduce irritation.
These are general tips. For persistent skin or hair concerns, please see a dermatologist.
